Octavius AI is now Brass Butler

If you have landed here from an old link, an old email or a business card with Octavius on it, you are in the right place. Octavius AI has become Brass Butler. Same people, same clients, same solutions, and the same way of working. Only the name and the address have changed.

Why the name changed

Octavius was a name we grew into. Brass Butler is a name we chose for what the business had become.

Most companies never get a reason to pick a name on purpose. We did, and we took it. The business was built around what we do for founders, not around the word on the door, so changing the word was the easy part.

Why Brass Butler

A good butler runs the house so the owner does not have to. They know what is coming, who is at the door, what needs doing and when, and they handle it without being asked. That is the job we do for founders.

We build an AI brain that watches your business, decides what matters and briefs you, and an AI workforce that does the work: answers the enquiry, chases the invoice, books the appraisal, drafts the proposal, runs the follow-up. Then we keep both trained, tuned and looked after as the business grows.

Brass is the material. Solid, warm, made to be handled every day and kept polished.

What changes for clients

Very little, and we will walk you through each piece.

• Our website is now brassbutler.com. Old octavius.ai links will land on the matching page here as the move completes.
• Our email addresses move to @brassbutler.com over the coming weeks. The old ones keep working through the changeover, so nothing gets lost, but please update your address book when you see the new one.
• The app you log in to moves to app.brassbutler.com. Your login, your data and your AI brain are untouched.
• Invoices, proposals and contracts will carry the Brass Butler name from here on. Existing agreements stand as written.

Pricing, the AI Strategy Intensive, the Foundation build and our training and support engagement are all unchanged.

Who we are

Brass Butler is Titus Mulquiney and the same team that built Octavius AI, based in Auckland and working with founders across New Zealand and Australia. We are the AI partner for founders who are stuck running the business out of their own head, and our job is to get them out of the way of their own growth.
